She held onto her dad's hand as they stepped up to the tent. Willow looked up at it, had it gotten bigger? she wondered. She gave the attendant the tickets, her eye caught the bandages on the attendants arm. They walked through, finding the seats. Jackie smiled. ‘’this is going to be fun sweetie...’’ 

Willow was looking around. Where was that girl? She hadn't told her dad about Pyre yet. Music sounded through the tent as more people came clamoring inside. 

The spotlight had shone on the center of the arena. A deafening bang, a flash of green smoke. There he stood, Black suit, top hat and that sick smile.  Jackie's eyes grew wide. ‘’We need to go.. now Willow...’’ He got up and began to make his way outside, clutching his daughter's hand. The tent had been closed. 

Jackie looked around for another exit when he heard a familiar voice. ‘’W̵e̸l̷c̴o̴m̶e̶ ̴o̷n̶e̴ ̵a̴n̸d̴ ̸a̵l̶l̷!̶ ̷I̴ ̵a̵m̶ ̶y̴o̴u̶r̴ ̸h̴u̷m̷b̷l̶e̵ ̷R̷i̴n̵g̶m̵a̸s̴t̸e̷r̴ ̵a̷n̵d̶ ̵t̸o̸n̸i̸g̴h̶t̴,̷ ̴Y̶o̶u̵ ̸s̷h̸a̴l̸l̶ ̴s̵e̵e̶ ̸a̷ ̷s̷h̴o̵w̵ ̸u̷n̵l̵i̷k̶e̴ ̵y̸o̷u̸ ̷h̸a̶v̷e̴ ̷e̴v̸e̵r̵ ̴l̴a̷i̶d̶ ̵y̶o̷u̸r̸ ̸e̴y̶e̸s̵ ̷u̵p̵o̶n̶!̸’’ 

The tent moved, a flutter as a pigtailed girl popped her head in from the outside. Willow motioned to her. They slipped under the tent. ‘’Pyre!’’ Willow smiled. Pyre brushed off her show dress. ‘’i tried to tell you...He’s here and i heard him say your name...’’ 

Jackie looked to the ceiling, he saw pinpricks in the top. ‘’puppets...’’ Pyre nodded. ‘’He wants to make you part of the show. To call you as a guest and have your dad jump in to get you. Its a trap..’’ Pyre looked down. ‘’He said he would help me if i got you to come..’’

Willow hugged her tight. ‘’its okay..Hes scary...Its not the first time i've seen him. ‘’ Pyre Smiled a little. ‘’ Can you...take me with you? I don't want to be here when he finds out you are gone. ‘’ Pyre looked nervously behind her.

‘‘S̶o̵m̷e̵o̶n̷e̵ ̸i̶s̷n̷t̴ ̴i̷n̷ ̶t̵h̵e̶i̸r̶ ̷s̷e̶a̵t̴!̵ ̴W̵e̷ ̴c̶a̶n̶t̶ ̸h̶a̷v̸e̶ ̴t̴h̵a̷t̸!̵ ̵C̶o̵m̷e̷ ̴b̸a̴c̸k̴ ̶J̴a̵c̴k̶i̵e̴.̴.̶ ̵A̷n̷d̶ ̷y̴o̴u̷r̵ ̵l̸i̴t̶t̴l̵e̶ ̶g̵i̸r̶l̴.̴.̷ ̶W̸i̴l̴l̶o̵w̴.̸.̴.̸.̴W̵e̸ ̵h̸a̷v̷e̷ ̵a̶ ̴s̷p̶e̶c̷i̵a̴l̸ ̸s̷h̵o̴w̶ ̸p̵l̷a̶n̵n̶e̷d̶.̶.̶.̸‘‘ Pyre winced. ‘‘He knows..’‘ 

Jackie grabbed Willow and Willow grabbed Pyre’s hand in turn. ‘’Come on.. lets go!’’ The three ran toward the house, leaving the tent and all it had inside in the distance. They could hear The air crackle behind them. Willow turned to look behind her. 

The tent seemed on fire. Pyre’s makeup for the show was smearing as tears rolled down her cheeks. ‘’He took my home...’’ Jackie pulled the door open and pushed them inside, closing the door tight. ‘’ Its okay.. for now.. this is your home..’’ He said with a deep breath. 

Willow wrapped an arm around her. ‘’Where's your dad or mom?’’ She asked quietly. Pyre shook her head. ‘’Gone..I was picked up by our old ringmaster. I was alone and he gave me a home and a job...’’  Pyre wiped her eyes. 

Jackie looked out the window. ‘’i don't think he saw us leave...we can figure it all out in the morning..you both look so tired..’’
