Hearing the bell ringing above the door, Gwen put down the teddy bear she was working on and got up to greet the new customers. Mrs. Hopkins was still ill, so Gwen and Mabel had to do every work, but someone always had to be in the front room and it was Gwen's turn now. So she had brought out  a teddy bear that needed a change of stuffing and a new nose. She swept the soft white material off her denim skirt, then smiled at the new customers.

"Hello," she said. "What can I help you with?"

Late-Night Cravings// Melrose and Elena

Stuffing some money into her pockets, Elena ran out of her flat. She had just gotten home for work and had the strongest craving for chips. Navigating through the flat building stairs, she must have apologized a dozen times, never stopping. She was on a mission and needed those chips. Darting through the door, she jogged to the nearest restaurant.

Elena was half way there when something caught her eye.Well, it was more of a someone. Actually, it was the telly, but still, it was Michael Carrick and she needed know what was going on. She walked rather slowly, craning her head to see inside the small shop. She wanted to see him, but she wanted chips. Still walking and not paying attention, she abruptly walked into someone.

“Shite. I’m really sorry.”

Sitting in the usual café, Bond scratched at his cheek absently and scribbled another note down in book--he'd revise his thoughts later. The scraping of a chair across from his broke his concentration, and he glanced up for a moment, eyebrows raised, at the person across from him.

Meredith had just finished her work on the structure of the skin for Captain Amercia. This experiment went very well with her workers and of course with Fury. Big smile was on the woman’s face, when she walked out of the room taking off her white, rubber gloves. With dry hands, she combed her hair when suddenly someone appeared in her office. ”Hello, can I help you?”
