Ingredients: 1 lb corned beef, thinly sliced. 8 small corn tortillas. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1/2 cup diced tomatoes. 1/2 cup diced onions. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. Vegetable oil for frying. 2 cups frozen French fries. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 cup cold beer. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper.
Instructions: In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350F 175C. Whisk the flour, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl. As you add the cold beer to the flour mixture, whisk it in slowly until you have a smooth batter. Dive the frozen French fries into the beer batter, letting the extra batter drip off. Carefully place the fries in the hot oil. It will take about 4 to 5 minutes of frying until the food is golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to take them out and let them drain on paper towels. To make the corn tortillas soft, heat them in a dry skillet or the microwave. Put the tacos together: After putting some corned beef slices on each tortilla, top them with lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream.
