Do you think they created the #ReyAndKylo because the Reylo moniker is dragging along to much controversy? Like they want us to talk about Reylo without calling it as such? Like some sort of rebranding?

Anon 1: No I don’t think they are trying to “rebrand” Reylo. The ONLY reason they went with #KyloAndRey instead (IMO) is because “Reylo” is a shipping term with OBVIOUS connotations, and for them to use it outright would essentially confirm that YES they are going to kiss in this movie. AKA it would be a SPOILER. Saying #KyloAndRey is still ambiguous enough that it’s not them confirming the TYPE of relationship it’s just saying they have one and it’s central to the film (like they’ve been saying openly in interviews). They want you to think of them together for REASONS (👀) but they won’t come out in promo saying THE REASON IS IT’S ROMANTIC #Reylo.

The Guardian earlier today released an article about why #DominicCummings has at no point trended on Twitter during this ongoing saga. They smugly said that it was just down to porn filters (which is also, apparently, why you have to type his full name in the search bar and it’s not suggested to you).

I am not convinced this is the full story.

For example, it has been a while since I have seen “Boris Johnson” on trending, but during that time, I have seen #Johnston #SackBoris #SackDomAndBoris and #BorisHasFailedTheNation.

Equally, the search used to suggest various misspellings, which now are mostly gone- the current one seems to be #DominicCumins, which is new.

For a while, #CumGate was allowed to trend, but that quickly disappeared being briefly replaced by #CumGates, and again, you have to type them both in in full to see them now.

I wonder if there is some sort of abuse of the reporting system going on, and that’s how they are getting some of these hashtags suppressed?

The Guardian article would consider me a conspiracy theorist, and it’s also true I am not an expert on twitter, but I would genuinely love to hear opinions and theories on this!

Lindsey Graham Gets His Own Taunting Russia-Themed Hashtag On Twitter

Move over #MoscowMitch.

#Leningrad Lindsey is now competing with #Moscow Mitch on Twitter.  Couldn’t happen to more deserving Trump toady.  These two, along with nearly ALL of the Republican Party, are modern day BENEDICT ARNOLDS.  Apparently they’ve sworn their loyalty to One Nation Under Trump.  So much for their oath of office to UPHOLD and PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION.
