Delicious and bite-sized, these Twix Cookie Cups are a delightful treat with a buttery cookie base, gooey caramel, and chocolatey Twix pieces.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/3 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/4 cup caramel sauce. 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips. 1/2 cup chopped Twix bars.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a mini muffin tin. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. Mix the vanilla extract and salt in well after adding them. Add the flour little by little and mix it in until a dough forms. Put little balls of dough into the mini muffin tin and press them down to make cups. After the oven is hot, bake the cookie cups for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Take them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes in the pan. Then carefully take them out and place them on a wire rack to cool all the way through. After the cookie cups are completely cool, add a little caramel sauce to each one. You can use a double boiler or the microwave to melt the milk chocolate chips. About half of the way up each cookie cup, fill it with melted chocolate. Cover the chocolate-filled cups with the chopped Twix bars. Allow the chocolate to set by putting the cookie cups in the fridge for 15 to 20 minutes. Your Twix Cookie Cups are ready to eat once the chocolate has set.
