also this love & thunder rewrite is not officially taking place after the revengers series since i haven't finished the latter yet, but like, it's a version of love & thunder if infinity war hadn't happened, and the revengers is what would've happened after ragnarok if infinity war hadn't happened, so like. yeah

all this to say that it probably won't be included in the fic itself but i love to imagine they're about to go hunting down gorr and they get on the viking boat tiki hut thing and thor's like "look at us! going off on another adventure! the revengers back at it! i wonder what banner's up to, maybe we should invite him?" and loki without looking up from his phone (which he has now, because he's been living on earth for five years) says "he's at a theoretical physics conference in berlin, i already asked"

Straight trans men don't have priviledge over gay trans men, do you live in the real world friend? Don't tell them to shut up when it comes to queer sexuality talk cause to the world and society their sexuality isn't heterosexual for shit and guess what, what determines opression is society's view of things. On average straight trans guys will get persecuted under homosexuality laws and gay trans guys won't, when you date someone of the same sex, you're in a homosexual relationship by definition and it'll get persecuted as such, straight trans guys got every right to speak about thier experinces in queer sexuality spaces bruh like that's not how the world works damn. Same shit for straight trans women, a trans woman will get persecuted under laws when dating cis men(or anyone of the same sex regardless of gender) but won't when dating a trans man or a cis women, so they both got a space here and can't be grouped with the heterosexuals heterosexual talk cause that ain't how they get treated and because they are in same sex relationship by Def and that matters son.. Tbh it doesnt matter how you think things should be like theoretically, cause the way they are is what affects our lives and sex will never stop being a part of who we are and our idenitity and the way the world subsequently treats and deals with us based on them.

the biggest thing about love and thunder i would have changed after making it thorkyrie is the soundtrack tbh. one, because i don't like guns n roses. two, because we SHOULD have kept the led zeppelin theme running!!! their whole discography fucks!!! look i know we're not gonna beat immigrant song in terms of fitting the story so perfectly, but damn it i want to see thor landing in the middle of a crowd of Disposable Bad Guys with lightning cascading off of him while the opening riff of whole lotta love plays. they could have played houses of the holy as they entered omnipotence city. you see the vision

doing this thorkyrie love & thunder rewrite but still including jane heavily in the plotline feels like i'm standing here with a megaphone giving a PSA like, "attention, readers: you do not have to get back with your ex. listen to me. big movie is lying to you and saying it'll be sooo cute and romantic if you get back with your ex. it will not be. that feeling you're feeling is not romantic attraction. you can be friends. you can be very good friends! but you do not have to get back with your ex. it's okay. i promise it'll be fine."

i'm making headway on my commissioned-slash-charity-drive fics, so this one is from a thorkyrie request which has basically evolved into "hey what if i wrote thor love and thunder but, like, made it good this time" and of course loki's there because i'm me

“And hello, Jane,” Loki says with a smile that’s positively vulpine, turning and inclining his head toward her like they’re old friends—which, judging by the wide-eyed look she’s still giving him, is certainly not the case. “You’re looking distinctly less Midgardian these days, aren’t you? New outfit? Haircut, maybe?”

okay i shared a line from this bit before, but here's the context leading up to it, from the "what if i wrote thor: love and thunder, and also infinity war never happened so loki and heimdall are still alive" fic:

“Well, far as I can tell, that hammer’s well and truly yours,” Val tells her. “Pretty sure that’s how it works, anyway. Who-so-ever holds it, or whatever—”

“Whosoever holds what, exactly?”

Jane startles, letting out a gasp of fright and pulling the hammer straight into her palm with a crackle of lightning. Val, on the other hand, rolls her eyes and whips her empty bottle in the direction of that absolute pain in the ass—

The bottle passes straight through the illusion of Loki that’s now standing at the far end of her living room. It shatters against the wall and rains bits of glass down on the carpet. The illusion dissipates on contact, as they always do, gone as quickly as a bad hallucination.

“Was that—?”

“Unfortunately, yes,” Val breathes, squeezing her eyes shut and pressing a thumb to her temple. Then, louder, so he’ll know she’s addressing him: “Remind me: What exactly did I tell you was gonna happen the next time you did that?”

“Would you believe I don’t remember?” Loki says, rematerializing on the other side of her couch and leaning forward between her and Jane, his elbows on the back of the couch and his fingers laced in front of him. “As creative as they are, I’m afraid the threats do begin to blend into one another after a while.”

Val levels a tired glare at him—or his new duplicate, anyway, because the upholstery of the couch doesn’t quite dip where his forearms are supposedly pressing into it.

“I hope you know you’re cleaning that up.”

“I already did,” Loki says, in a tone that says, honestly, how little do you think of me, which is one of his favorite tones, because he’s a vain prick. But true to his word, there’s that weird shimmery staticy feeling in the air for about half a second, and then the bottle is just suddenly in her hand again, unbroken, like she never threw it in the first place.

It’s one of his more interesting magic tricks. She still has no idea how he does it.

“And hello, Jane,” Loki says with a smile that’s positively vulpine, turning and inclining his head toward her like they’re old friends—which, judging by the wide-eyed look she’s still giving him, is certainly not the case. “You’re looking distinctly less Midgardian these days, aren’t you?
