gaining weight.
Tw murder. Tw spooky shit.
The inky edges of madness begin to creep into Mikey’s vision as he observes the same delivery man approach Audri’s door for the fourth time tonight.
She’s not expecting a delivery. He’d know because the last two items she ordered anything they been on his dime.
He also knew she didn’t have a stalker. Anymore. So whoever this was, they were a new npc. Someone he’d be forced to get rid of just like the stalker.
“You think he’s the stalkers relative or something?”
Mikey doesn’t even flinch when his brother’s voice fills the car.
“No, stalker had no existing family.”
Mikey can’t ascertain exactly when his older brother’s ghost began haunting him but he also can’t remember a time when he didn’t have Shinichiro as his second set of eyes and ears.
“Hm. Your friend sure attracts the crazies,” his brother chuckles.
Mikey scoffs. “Art is admired by insane people Shin. It’s only us that can appreciate the intended message behind something that beautiful.”
Shinichiro is silent and Mikey turns to face his brother in the passenger seat. He flinches at the sight of his brother’s mangled face. His unhinged jaw and the gaping left section of his head where his eye should be. Blood and chunks of brain matter stain his face and hair. His tongue hangs out one side of his mouth and he’s missing half the top row of teeth.
He looks away quickly. Back to the delivery man in his khaki uniform pacing the curb outside Audri’s apartment.
“Are you going to kill this one too?”
Mikey sighs deeply as the man approaches Audri’s door again.
“Yes.”
And he does. It’s surprisingly easy. The last man struggled too much and was entirely too noisy. It was no fun.
But this one pisses himself when he comes to and Mikey is perched atop him. Balanced on the balls of his feet on his stomach.
He screams and yelps and whimpers when Mikey carves him up. And when he confesses that he was paid to deliver a package to her but he was too scared to do it Mikey slashes open his throat with a single flick of his wrist.
For this man he collects his tongue. The symbol of a messenger. Albeit one who failed to deliver his message.
On the far back wall illuminated by the moonlight rows and rows and rows of clear, labeled jars are the only witness to his crimes.
And Shinichiro is blessedly absent.
There is a live animal swimming in the pool on the top deck. It looks suspiciously like a dolphin. Who…got a dolphin…up here?
The honey packs won.
mhm.
satisfied.
No one told me how refreshing it would be to block a woman.
