Something I highkey respect abt my dm is that he recognizes that I’m the quietest person at the table and, partially because I’m shy/anxious and partially because of my processing issues, and he (and the other players!) have been actively making sure I don’t fall to the wayside like in other campaigns.

#in Brila’s campaign I literally haven’t spoken in character for like #two sessions #part of that though is party size #we’re at like six players now #but still #I really love how much effort he puts into making sure every player feels heard and seen #and that their story arcs are important #I honestly was content with the way the game has been going #he’s been so good at bringing me into the story that I was already so perfectly content #watching the other players get their character arcs #but now that Kingsley’s arc is getting smacked in my face I’m like DAMN #THIS ROCKS #and!! he’s balancing duke’s arc with his dad at the same time!#also #he sat with each of us for several hours before we even started the campaign #asking questions and listening to everything I had to say abt him #and what I wanted from a DnD game #so he’s doing SUCH justice with his arc #a character with so much grey area being pushed to his moral limits #asking ‘how far will you go?’#‘how much can you keep justifying to yourself?’#SCREAMS #I’m hoping that now finals are done we can play more than just once a month
