Doodles from the tiiiny notebook I keep in my wallet for "emergencies." Like waiting in a long line at the store, at the doctor's office, ect. Most of them are practice drawing of simplified designs (for if I ever get the gumption to make a comic out of my aus). I freaking LOVE that "armless" poncho Nine in the first one. PRECIOUS (I need a plush of him, stat!). I drew the annoyed Tails when someone blatantly cut in front of me at the pharmacy, lol. Just like "Yeah, whatever :|" Also, random Surge man-spreading in a dress. Because she would. And she wouldn't wear a short enough one for it to be an issue. Heck, I couldn't see her wearing a dress at all... Amy must have got her to do it.

I drew some Spyros, and Spyro-ish dragons of the Someplace boys to make myself happy the other day. :] Kit came out looking like a geckotaur and I love him immensely.

My super duper self-indulgent SHIP-BRAINED idea where Nine & co. did in fact end up on that stupid dating show. Having half his memories wiped, it would be so amusing to see Nine struggle horribly in such a setting. He'd instinctually be distrustful of everything happening, but just mollified enough to actually engage with others. And be very, very flustered by hot people talking to him for some reason. Socially awkward dorkus constantly bursting into flames. It would be glorious.

Also, those people are just random background chars. Since this Nine is the one from my Someplace au, I don't know what actual Sonic characters I'd even ship him with? Maybe Cosmo could magically be there, idk... I didn't think about it that hard. Despite my SHIPPY BRAIN and the SHIPPY SETTING, the main focus is actually just Nine as an individual. So the other characters aren't as important. But also, this is pure noncanon fun, so I could get VERY silly with it if I wanted to.

Tails would suspect foul play immediately. Not even the memory wipe could completely mask the memory of Sonic/Amy trying to set his lonely ass up with people in the past. He doesn't remember them specifically, just their meddling auras!

Someone's good writing got me thinking about my various au Tails' reactions to thunderstorms. Of the main three, Nine is the least bothered, so I theorized him in storm situations with the others. Tails alone would be embarrassed and try to brush it off. Nine, not being the comforting sort, would be like "Um. Okay." and just kinda leave him be. Mangey alone would be a trembling mess, utterly enveloping Nine for comfort as he freaked out. Nine managed to get one arm out of Mangey's iron grip to attempt to give him a comforting pat. All three together would be Mangey and Tails clinging to one another, with Tails still embarrassed. He might try to play it off like he's comforting Mangey, but it's pretty obvious that's not the case. Cue more awkward Nine just being like "uhhhh, what do? ._.;"

The attribute chart is just my initial pass; I'd probably tweak it a bit. My idea with Mangey being the worse off is that he probably has the best hearing out of all of them and the BOOMS scare the shit out of him (nothing else quite like it in the jungle). Plus he HATES rain/getting wet (it messes up his BEAUTY and is also just annoying with such long fur). Tails' fear is just normal Tails lore kinda stuff. Being scared and alone when he was a young kid, out in the rain and thunder. Same sort of deal for CaveTails. For Sails, storms would have been a legitimate threat his entire life, what with living on the sea. I don't have anything specific for folklore!Tails, other than keeping it consistent with the Tails lore. I might think of something later.

Nine could possibly be a bit more fearful- perhaps from when he was also young and out on the streets. But I see him as living primarily underground in some capacity, which would shield him from being exposed to any weather as much. Also, he's used to loud noises, so that wouldn't be as big of a deal. Cavetails-Kit has more discomfort than usual from growing up on the streets without protection from the elements. But it didn't develop into outright fear for him. Can't have my splash motif guy hating on water too much. I need to think about garrison-Nine some more, but I figure garrison-Kit would be wholly neutral on the matter. Doesn't particularly like or dislike it. I think I'd slide sp!Kit to the left just a bit- he likes rain, but maybe not thunderstorms. Kelpie Kit absolutely loves frolicking and splashing about in the rain, thunderstorm or no. He likes the big booms. It makes him think of his buddy, Surge. I think he may have built up some kind of magical resistance to electric shock from getting bullied by her so much as a kid, too, lmao.

Mangey/Nine outfit swap (specifically from Kaleidoscope Act 1). Nine is trying to keep it cool, but dying internally. Mangey is just confused as to why he's suddenly wearing clothes. If this actually happened when they first met, it may have gone a little something like this:

The OOC version came to mind first, so I had to doodle it also. XD The clothes swap was suggested by @corvussio, since I had swapped Kit and Sails' outfits before.
