I don’t know the story of where or how this began, I’m just glad it happened and I got to witness it 😂😂😂 I wish I were that cool 😎 and also that I had a squad that was down to do that ^-^ . All we do is eat and play board games LOLOLOLOLOL 🤣 now that I think about it, I’m pretty okay with that ahahas . You know, it took me forever to find this song LOL I must really live under a rock - I had no idea PSY came out with another song/dance after Gangnam Style ahahas At first, I did a google search for lyrics, but I thought he was saying “you fancy, you fancy” and not “new face, new face” (the actual lyrics lol) . Can we all just take a moment to appreciate this amazing little girl and her moves?! I mean seriously, how adorable is that 🤗🤗🤗 I wish I had that much swagger ^-^ . BTW I JUST LOOKED UP THE DEFINITIONS FOR SWAG AND SWAGGER AND I’M DYING 😂 LOLOLOLOL . The Online Slang Dictionary: swag = “secretly we are gay”, “something we Asians got”, “saved with amazing grace”, “a female who is either a wife, girlfriend or relative of a Nanango Rugby League Stag player” . Urban Dictionary: swagger = “Swagger is not to be confused with cockiness. Cockiness is someone thinking they are the shit, but if you have swagger you probably are the shit.” . Tbh, I’m REALLY digging that Urban Dictionary definition ahahahahas . I also met @carollfornia in my 3rd year of undergrad (her 1st year) through Miles Militis (my college christian ministry) ^-^ tbh I don’t remember when she started helping me with making youtube videos, but my goodness she was amazing to have on my team! She’s one of the most creative and hard working people I know 👍💪 I mean, just look at how beautiful everything about this wedding was! . She’s also super funny! Those in Nexus Raiders know the most that I make puns all the time, both in and out of game (the trick is to accept the fact that there is no such thing as a good pun 😂) well, Carol is the TRUE pun master ahahahas and she’s really creative with them 👌 also, hers are just generally better than mine cuz I really like bad puns 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ LOLOLOL . Looking back, it’s kind of crazy how much we did as college students 😂 we made a ton of videos on super low budgets xD For example, I didn’t have the $$$ to buy an actual backdrop, so I went to Joann’s an just bought a 9’x12’ sheet of fabric LOL . Also, we made our own stabilizer with materials from Home Depot (literally just a weighted platform with handles and a mount for the camera) because legit ones were too bulky and also cost a ton of money 😂 Thankfully Carol already had her own camera because I didn’t own one at the time ahahas . But working on a budget and being frugal with $$$ is something that Carol does much better than most people! I hear stories all the time about how she gets crazy deals and saves money at Ikea and other places, even restaurants 😂 She has a ton of super nice stuff and probably spent like 1/4th the amount that normal people would have 🙌 That’s definitely something I need to learn from her . @carollfornia once helped me with pushing a piano several blocks along the sidewalk for a YouTube video 😂 thank goodness she and a couple others were there because I - being the complete derp that I was - thought I could push it by myself LOLOLOLOL . One of my friends has this amazingly awesome + pretty piano that I wanted to use for the video for my cover of Boston by Augustana - you can actually watch it in my IGTV or find it on YouTube :D The thing is, there wasn’t much space in this apartment to film so we had to push it all the way to the Dartmouth apartments near UC Irvine 🤦🏻‍♂️ never again ahahas . Looking back, it was pretty dumb of me to attempt such a thing - I should have just paid professional movers or used a diff piano/location for the video 😂 but, even though I clearly made an error in judgement, Carol supported me and helped me accomplish the task at hand . To be honest, that’s fairly indicative of my friendship with Carol and one of the reasons why I’m having such a hard time writing this caption right now. I just have a lot of feels and I don’t know how to articulate them xD . There are few people that I appreciate and admire as much as I do her & it would not be an exaggeration to say that I am who I am because of Carol Yee. More than I know how to say, I will always be grateful for the impact she’s had on my life . Both Aaron and Carol are amazing, loving, and kind human beings ❤️ It’s obvious from the sheer number of people who love them and continually pray blessing over them individually and now as husband and wife ^-^ In case you couldn’t tell already from the last several posts, I deeply admire these two and am so blessed by how they’ve both impacted my life . Even after that year of living in the same dorm, I still got to hang out with @aarongineer thru my college christian ministry: Miles Militis ^-^ It was definitely a humbling and inspiring experience for me to watch as he grew into a kind and honorable man of God 👍💪 I got to experience him sharing the Word, touching hearts, and changing lives :D . He once shared a message for homegroup (Miles Militis) using Isaiah 64 to help us understand that, while “even our most righteous deeds are but filthy rags before God” and that our sinful nature condemns us to hell, God is a gracious and loving God who has given us a way out of that punishment through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ . It’s moments like these that make me so proud and honored to have him as a friend - He’s a constant encouragement and has been an amazing leader as well! . Btw Aaron manages the sound team at Crosslife (: It’s honestly so easy for me to serve on sound team with him at the helm because he’s just so responsible and dependable ^-^ I know he’ll be a fantastic and amazing husband . I first met @aarongineer in my 3rd year of college (when I was an undergrad at UCI for Bio Sci). I was working in student housing at the time as a community programmer so I lived in the dorms and coordinated events for Mesa Court :) Aaron was one of the freshmen living in my hall (Selva 🙌) and we ended up gaming a ton together 🎮 ahahahas . Our hall was super into Super Smash and we were also hella competitive 😂 The thing is, the Wii/Brawl version of Smash didn’t have as much character control as the Melee version did, so Aaron (I’m like 98% sure it was him…) introduced us to Project M (or maybe it was project x…LOL), which was a mod of Super Smash Brawl to give players finer controls for higher levels of gameplay :D . The thing with gaming with Aaron is that, even though he’s competitive and very skilled, he’s really fun to game with 😄 He’s always about having a good time and he’s always got a smile on ^-^ Whereas some people might get frustrated with the game, Aaron just laughs through it and embraces the challenge and it’s that attitude that makes him such a great gaming buddy - win, lose, or draw . Whether it be Settlers of Catan, Overcooked, Super Smash, Pokemon, or any other game with teams/alliances, if you get the chance to have Aaron on your team, pick him and lock him down before anyone else does 😂 (👍💍 @carollfornia ) .
