So, follow me on this one: Noah summoning Sophist as a last resort.
Inspired by "Monster" from Epic the Musical.
Just imagine Noah visiting Brent and his kingdom only to find it under siege. He immediately rushes straight for the castle to check on his friend.
He sees Brent fighting off intruders left and right, cutting them down as fast as he can manage, but he's still incredibly outnumbered. And Noah's just standing there in shock, unable to move.
Only when Brent finally goes down does he snap out of it and try to defend his friend, but he's quickly forced back with no means to defend himself. He's not a fighter like Brent, so he's got nothing.
Well, not nothing. He has one thing.
A mask he swore he'd never don. A mask he only knows as something powerful that comes with a cost. But right now, he's willing to pay any price to save his friend.
And it's when he presses it to his face that all hell truly breaks loose...and then the fun begins.
