HIII here's more convo while I find the motivation to grab backgrounds for my wip

No freaky Chance this time but small hc Two Time left the cult after they all got back home (idk either it probably took a whole lot of convincing)

Anyway have I ranted about TwoScarfs' dynamic pre-dating LET ME RANT ABOUT THAT-

So I think their dynamic pre-dating is really interesting because Muffle is 100% aware of her feelings for Two Time. She has feelings for them. She's aware and she's fine with that and she's probably quicker to confess to them then Chance (probably because Chance makes her nervous,,,)

Two Time on the other hand I feel like has at least some sort of trauma considering their last partner they literally murdered in the name of their fake god (or whatever Spawn is to them) sooo they're not too ecstatic about dating anyone or catching feelings, and honestly fair enough I do NOT blame them for that.

I imagine at first they genuinely rejected Muffle when she confesses, mostly for her safety, and represses any sort of romantic feelings they might have for her. They killed Azure, what's stopping them from hurting Muffle in some way too? Doesn't help that a lot of interactions with her reminds them of Azure. Like a lot.

Though eventually, they can't keep repressing it and has to face the truth; they have feelings for Muffle. They know at this point that Muffle feels the same, but that doesn't stop them from being concerned for her safety. Yeah sure they can't die die in this realm, but Two Time knows they can hurt her in other ways and they don't want to do that.

At some point during this whole thing, Two Time tries to rationalize with themselves. They won't do that again, will they? They learned their lesson from Azure...! Probably-! Maybe this is a second chance from The Spawn....

Eventually, they convince themselves that yes, Spawn is giving them a second chance at a relationship and follows Muffle up on her confession, that of which probably happened months ago at this point, buuut luckily (or unluckily, depends on how you view it) Muffle is still hard pining for the traumatised cultist enby soooo....TwoScarfs!!

I think Two Time is still somewhat worried about hurting Muffle tho.... :<
