SOME OF MY FICS WILL BE UNAVAILABLE ON AO3 FOR A SHORT TIME - DO NOT PANIC

They are not being deleted. They will still exist, I am just moving them all to a hidden collection for a little while as I go through and make edits and changes. Some fics are getting minor grammar and formatting changes and will be back very soon, some are undergoing complete rewrites and will take a little longer.

"Couldn't you have left them all available and edited them as they are?" I hear some of you ask, and that is a very good question

I certainly could, and that was my intention when I started the fic refresh I talked about in post several months ago. But a combination of factors has made me decide that I will benefit from doing it this way. For example, I am a hot mess and this way I will know for sure what i have finished changing - as well as the fact that there's something satisfying about taking an old model off the market and replacing it with a (in my opinion) much better one. I'm dramatic like that, so sue me.

The biggest reason, though, is that due to a devestating few months in my personal life that has derailed me in more ways than one: i will be on a writing hiatus or the foreseeable. My mental state is just not in the right place for that right now, and until it is, I want to comb through my works and make sure I am 100% proud of everything I have out there. I am giving myself this project to keep me sane, and to be creative at the same time without the pressure of crafting something brand new.

TL;DR - Almost all of my fics except the collabs will be going awol for a little while (in batches, not all at once), so maybe download copies now before that happens! But the good news is, those fics will be back asap and might include a more fleshed out version of the story you knew, a cleaner and more polished reading experience, and maybe, some extra never before seen content as I work back through these stories and find additional things I want to say ;)
