it is quite comfortable, now that you ask, thank you. BUT UGH YES WHAT YOU SAID that’s what I was trying to get at, I think. If you’re so focused on a ship, and that ship is never going to happen, then you’re just going to make yourself bitter.

ship =/= the point of a show, the entirety of a show. but omg also IS SEASON ONE REALLY the majority’s fave? I think season four is mine, tbh. Bradley and Colin and Angel and everyone were fab in it. BUT ALSO: I kind of like that Merlin isn’t trying

to be something new and inventive and revolutionary and super famous and all that junk, because I kind of like watching TV shows just to watch them? I don’t watch TV to correct social injustices, or to point out their flaws, or to try to make myself

think differently. I watch to watch, and if that happens in the mean time, well great. And plus, it keeps us out of the spotlight a little lolol. I like that there’s no pressure to try to be the best, to be something unique. I like Merlin for what it

is and I honestly wouldn’t change anything about it. (except maybe making merlin’s eyes go gold consistently. but you know.)

yeaaahh. season 1 seems to be a lot of people's favorite ever in the fandom. i mean, if you're a merthur fan i think? or maybe it's just from the people i see that are bitter about merlin now? cause season 1 had epic merthur moments, no arwen, and had good and awesome morgana. and i think a lot of people who are bitter about how morgana is now, how much more prominent arwen is as well, wish it was like how it was in season 1. at least, that's the vibe i am getting. 

and GOD YES. PLEASE. I TRY TO ESCAPE RL BY WATCHING GOOD TELEVISION. i don't want everything to be a fucking social justice battle even in my entertainment. i know it's important, i understand that it's important. or hey i get if a show IS about that and then doing it WRONG like fucking GLEE then go ahead and go after it. that entire show became all about social issues and then they, IMO, proceeded to do it all WRONG to the point it actually fucking offended me and i just had to stop watching. so yeah, if there is a show trying to break boundaries like my OTP from the soap i watched (first gay male kiss in daytime, yes it's a big deal) then that's great. but idk, do it right okay? lol ATWT got it only half right but shhh that's another story for another time.
