We are back with another #Hashtaghiphop Song review and this time we have the impressive duo TWOthirteen. "No Tomorrow” by Twothirteen really makes you want to get up and live life there is no tomorrow. At 265k streams strong on SoundCloud, it is no question that Twothirteen is a force to be reckoned with. The producer, Papamitrou killed this beat, flat out. It embodies qualities of Hip-Hop, Rap & even Electronic music with the re occurring sample howling in the background. Whether you are in the club or in the car this bass will BANG and make you want to move. In addition to the fire beat, the lyrics and punchiness also make you want to play the track back the second it finishes. One line that really stuck out to us was this double entendre around 1 minute and 30 seconds.
“You’d think we wrapping (rapping) round a lions neck cause we the mane (main) shit”
We also though that this line was really clever. A nice blend of confidence and humor.
"Cereal killer cause I snap, crackle and pop rappers"
All around, “No Tomorrow” is a wonderful record which can be seen as a lyrical ballad or a club banger. The track was impressively written by Joseph Campo and William Blake. Campo also can be credited with the mixing and mastering. Be sure to follow all involved below !
