Is it safe to eat bugs you find in urban/suburban areas where pesticides are in use (assuming, of course, you know it's not poisonous or anything)? Or is it important to source them from places where chemicals aren't being used? /gen
I'm afraid I don't know enough about eating wild bugs to give any kind of useful advice. I've only eaten bugs that were processed as food and available at the store. My general advice though is to NOT eat anything you find outside unless you really know what you're doing. Certain inverts can carry dangerous pathogens and parasites.
