Her words were the usual warning from a park ranger, but this time she truly meant it. Poachers were rampant in these months and the bear population had less and less to forage on. She herself had a run in with poachers when walking the trails only a few weeks ago.

But there had been something else. Some strange noises that no one could quite pinpoint to what it was, but they could safely say it hadn’t been a bear. Theories had grown rampant from a runaway Canadian moose, to drugged out homeless men, and even Big Foot had been thrown about by the other park rangers.

Whatever it was, it wasn’t local and they had been put on alert for tracks, hair, or droppings they couldn’t identify.

❝ If you see something that doesn’t seem right, don’t hesitate to call the ranger station. We’ll have someone sent up here. ❞

yeah it’s a pain because people always want you to come to them with a plot already in mind and I just.. like I don’ t know hat I would do with that characcter off the top of my head. ugh.

“I hate you.” She mutters, and nestles into the spot under his chin that she fits into like a screwed up puzzle piece.

“Fuck off, sugar.” But he doesn’t expect, or want her to, as seen in the way that his arm sneaks around her frame to hold her in place.

“Happy anniversary, asshole.” They both say at once, and laugh at how horribly cheesy that was, and fall into the easy sleep of tired alcoholics that know nothing else but this.

Hi there! This is my view too. I do think it’s possible to make an argument for any of the Houses and he’d give the hat a few minutes’ serious thought. But since it also takes into account the student’s wants too, I think he’d ultimately end up in Hufflepuff. Especially at that age he doesn’t feel particularly brave or smart let alone cunning, what he knows best is hard work and responsibility.
