Tx2 makes me want to hang myself in the garage
im so tired of tx2 fans still defending the band after everything that's come out about them , so here's my list of reasons why i hate them.
the lake situation. in 2024 , a 19yo tiktoker (lake) made a video criticizing poser bands , of which included tx2. they called tx2 the "gimmick without the substance" , and claimed that he used stereotypes to try and boost his image online. lake also said "if I have to listen to tx2 talk about 'goth dommy mommies' one more time im going to shoot myself". evan responded to this statement with a song (vendetta) to which the first lyrics are "do it" implying that lake should just "do it" and shoot themself.
they have sampled music from popular bands like Get Scared, MCR, The Used, and some others without permission. evan also tried to justify this on his tiktok by saying "people sample existing music all the time" which doesn't apply to his situation , because he didnt ask for permission before sampling.
the fetishization of goth women & sh. one of evan's main marketing tactics on tiktok and insta reels is to make really outrageous claims about goth women to ragebait people into interacting with and promoting his content. when evan promotes his songs in particular , he tends to mainly use excerpts containing mentions of sh for shock value.
excessive traumadumping. evan has come out and said that all of his music has some sort of tie to his trauma and personal experiences. my problem here is that all of the lyrics that mention what he's gone through are often extremely stereotypical and patronizing to alternative people. he also guilt trips people who criticize his music by threatening to off himself and whining about how "no one understands him".
all of tx2's social media accounts don't feature any of the other bandmates , which i guess isn't "problematic" but it just strikes me as weird and narcissistic.
in short , i hate tx2 and i cant stand people who support him.

>Young fans who so happens to be really loud & annoying
>Alienated fanbase who will defend them regardless of whatever the fuck they do
>The whole thing of being oh so alternative
>Ripping off songs, either their lyrics, rhymes or instrumentals
>Really problematic front men that gets away with everything because people think he's "uwu silly and quirky"
>Hating & sexualizing religion (especially Christianity) for NO FUCKING REASON
>Horrible songs/lyrics
>Depending of drama & their hatedom so they can still be relevant
>The front man in an white straight men who fakes being queer just for fame
genuine question: why does TX2/Evan keep calling his (presumably homophobic) dad the f slur?? That would be like if my dad was racist and I constantly called him the n word
i hate tx2 with a burning passion, ESPECIALLY when he wears misfits shirts like im not one to call people posers but he does NOT listen to the misfits. when he called his music nu metal i wanted to push him off of a 20ft stage myself
AND HIS FANS ARE SO CORNY TOO DONT EVEN GET ME STARTEDDDD
when you think you’ve found a good 2000s scene/emo playlist but it has tx2 <<<
My reaction to TX2 being at the warped tour
