the two recapped on the moments they liked the best when they were in the amusement park before engaging into a conversation filled with random topics like what they would always have. after a while of walking, taeyeon mentioned how tired she was feeling & the two walked towards the nearest wooden bench they could find. once reaching the bench, he let go of her hand to sit down before leaning back on bench & wrapping his arm around the older ones shoulder once she sat down next to him.

they continued to converse for a while & eventually the conversation died down; only having silence keeping them company besides each other. she rested her head on his shoulder & out of habit he rested his cheek on top of the others head, tightening his grip around her. he then heard her say “I love you” to him & instead of responding back by saying “I love you too”, he stayed quiet & started debating if it was the right time.

after a few minutes of being quiet, he straightened his back before sliding his arm off her shoulder. leaning forward, he dug his free hand into his pocket & was able to get a small item from his pocket out by enclosing the item with his hand by making a fist. he slipped his hand out without her noticing before leaning back on the seat & looking at the fist he made. he then opened his fist, revealing a ring. he got the ring with his other hand to bring it closer to the other. “so…” he turned his head to look right at her while holding the ring up.

"you’ll marry me then?”

He huffs and puffs, perfectly aware of the fact that he shouldn’t be acting this way at his age and that in no way were those her intentions, but he’s acting like a butthurt teenager not knowing on whom to project his frustrations a good masturbating session cannot make go away.

Ivon sighs, taking the phone in his hands and types another message, containing a ton of emojis to make sure she knows he is kidding and that in fact he is really proud and glad of and for her for having found her true happiness in the end.

Ivon wishes that he'd be washed over by the waves from the shore and taken somewhere far away to a place he's foreign to the pain it beholds, foreign to the people surrounding him with no bounds to worry about breaking because of stupidity and misunderstandings. He wishes that and he knows it will remain but a wish, in the end.

He stares at her with a sadness in his eyes he isn't sure he has ever been able to feel to this degree, feeling powerless and useless and quite honestly a fact for her emotions and thoughts. He understands her. He understands her to such an emtional level, he wonders if the two of them haven't met on another contellation, far away from the identity forced upon the two of them by the higher powers thirsty for blood shed. 

All he finds himself capable of doing is exhalling, knowing he's as much of a trigger as anything related to her pain. He moves a little closer to her, arms coming to her shoulders to give them a squeeze, a reminder he's still there besides her and that her fury is something he is ready to take head held high without any complaints whatsoever. ❝I know.❞And fuck, he does. Ivon knows because neither did he.

Touching the button on his earpiece as he spotted the familiar teal figure sporting the brown hat. "Noona, target spotted. It's right under the terrace." 

"Got it, we'll get it today Hyunwoo." She nodded as if to confirm her words and made her way to the terrace. Carefully climbing over the railing, she took a moment to judge if she would be able to land the fall safely.

"Maybe you should try the stair--" Before he could finish his sentence, Taeyeon let go of the railing and he closed his eyes to avoid watching her fall.

Hearing her laugh a few moments later, he opened his eyes and gave a sigh of relief to see that she had landed somewhat gracefully on the ground below.
