Shelby: Wife.
Shelby: I'll be going home late. The boss needs a sub.
Shelby: We're going to have a 'take down' and supposedly, it'll be 'til past midnight.

Amelia had lost contact with Matt for a while after the night of the attack. Her life had become chaotic at work, the attacker lying to her boss about how he had paid for the night & how Amelia took the money & ran. However, that was the moment that Amelia snapped & she quit.
She didn’t have a clue where to go but her feet carried her to the only person that she thought would be there for her. Amelia ended up in Matt’s office building, her eyes red from crying while she waited to be escorted into his office after a meeting.
An hour passed & people in suits walked past her, judging her red eyes & rosy cheeks. She quickly rushed into the office, freezing when she seen Matt. “I quit.” She spoke suddenly, her heart racing in her chest. “I did what you said, Matt. I quit.” Amelia choked up, her hands trembling as she held onto her bag, standing in the doorway as she looked at Matt.

"i do," eden answered, a little embarrassed because normally, she wouldn't ask her ex to let her crash with them for a few days. just until her parents weren't mad at her anymore. and yet, she found herself in front of their apartment with a backpack on hand. because her friends weren't exactly that reliable when it comes to this since they are still living with their parents, with them just being in senior high after all.

Rosalyn glanced up, trying to rid herself of the oncoming headache from staring at the tiny print. She was just trying to study. A full day of learning was wasted from that stupid party. Not that she really regretted it. A drunken hook-up was not the worst thing she ever did. Still, when she did look up to see her one-night-stand across the room, Rosalyn felt her heart drop. Something was just different. The feeling was different.
