She had always had an obsession with the finer things in life. Music, the arts – she frequently went out of her way to be bougie. Money wasn’t a concern of hers, not when she could compel away for things that she wanted. Fleur had lived a very spoiled immortal life. Even if things in her life were certainly different here in Ashbourne, that was nothing that she wanted to change any time soon. She planned on continuing the same way as she was. Music did not always catch her attention in the same way that the visual fine arts did, but she had still developed a thorough appreciation throughout years of visiting opera houses.
“You have a lovely voice,” Fleur remarked, a slight arch of one thin eyebrow given as her gaze flickered over the other vampire. Not a believer. For now, at least. “May I buy you a drink?”
