'Are you squinting in anger or are you  having trouble seeing me.’ Siren was blankly staring at the other, his eyes watching closely as he tried to find where the specks were. He couldn’t seem to see them, and it’d require  effort to get up and look for them. ‘I don’t know. You always lose them,  that isn’t my problem.’

      & he says so many things that are          hurtful, so many that he wonders how          he ever was lonely enough to end up          with a being as poor as him. "I didn't           lose them. I'm not even sure if it was you          or me who took them off, but it happened.          And now I'm upset; so it's harder to...."          he inhales and exhales, steeling himself,          and keeps looking. He has to be able to drive.
