hc + tei (pls give me headcanons about us :>)

Send me  “HC”  + a word and I’ll write a headcanon (or three) about it.

Iruka will never say it out loud, but Tei has kind of grown on him. He comes around so often and tries to be nice in his own weird way, and Iruka has a hard time entirely hating him. The cupcake Iruka gives Tei on his birthday is only to be polite though, got it? Nothing to do with liking him or anything

That said, he does his best to make sure Tei never speaks to anyone under the age of 15, only lets Tei inside his house if he has to, and is super suspicious about if Tei’s cat is actually being treated well. He has terrible thoughts sometimes that Tei might be using it for ‘professional practice’. 

One time, Iruka came to Tei for information. He immediately regretted it.

Minami strained her body, becoming desperate to escape. She was all too aware of what fate awaited her. Her body was already painful from the fight that caused her capture - Minami couldn’t imagine how much the torture she was about to go under would hurt.

“ I joined them because they were powerful. I... I wanted to make the world suffer for their wrong doings. ” Minami struggled again, getting more and more agitated as the severity of her capture finally started to sink in.

“ Aaha... At least I’ll die seeing a pretty face. I won’t let you people touch me. ” 

Minami opened her mouth and moved her tongue below her teeth, deciding that dying of blood loss was better than being humiliated. With a wince, Minami closed her jaw with the intent of severing the red muscle that once uttered countless jutsu.

▲ – sakura is not useless nor is she a bad character. i know that there’s a huge portion of the fandom which hop on the bandwagon when it comes to this. of course she’s a character which has made some irrational calls – but does this not make her an even better character? it shows that, in a world of ninjas who can shoot fire from their faces and hypnotise people with their eyes, there is still humanity. there is still a lack of perfection. there is still realism. but even in that respect, i don’t know how she can be called useless.

sakura has used her medical ninjutsu to save the lives of characters throughout the series. not only has she saved naruto from injuries which would otherwise be fatal, but she also extracted sasori’s poison from kankuro with the delicate illness extraction technique. and yo.. tell me she wouldn’t punch your head straight from your shoulders with that monster strength of hers: especially when she finally activates the strength of a hundred seal.

if your ‘useless’ sakura wasn’t around, we’d have a dead naruto, kankuro, and probably many more dead characters on our hands. well, shit. that’s kind of unfortunate, isn’t it? :/

27. Your muse is being chased by the cops and decides to hitch a ride with my muse.

Iruka usually takes the bus, but his uncle owns a company car and he borrowed it to go out to the country and see his grandparents for the weekend. The drive is pleasant. Well, as pleasant as driving in Tokyo traffic can be. Iruka has time to spare, good music, and a history podcast in case he gets bored. He is stopped at one of the seemingly infinite red lights, in the middle of quietly singing the words to the song on the radio, when he hears a click.

He turns just in time for the cold air from outside to flood in as a complete stranger takes a seat and buckles up. This is it. I’m going to die.

“Uh...sir?” Not what he thought he might say if he was ever in a dangerous situation, but it’s what came out.

"i get cold easily," comes the retort, spoken around a genial smile. the material of his undershirt feels a lot thinner than it actually is and tei shrugs on a coat, buttons up with meticulous care. he turns a thoughtful eye on taro, asks, "are you sure you don't need a scarf?"

   there’s a moment where the boy appears to be genuinely appalled by such a suggestion ; a SCARF ?? with THIS jacket ?? judging by the aforementioned shirt , however , taro concludes that it was more than safe to assume that the other really had no idea what he was talking about at all. pity help him.
