oh god i feel like a deer in the headlights. UHHH I've really ONLY thought about Calder but I'm calling everyone nearly 30. i havent worked out too many details because i have brainrot and am also unfortunately insanely busy all the time. but basically my thought was like. i fully think edolon is using him and will absolutely betray him and i think calder is going to have to fight his way out of that. i think hes going to have to let someone (possibly arcjec!) help him. and i think he's gonna get a couple scars and some free trauma out of it that he's going to have to deal with post-game, likely for years afterward -- assuming that post-game doesn't just mean that the universe gets a hard reset or something.
i can see a lot of his former friends being wary of him after everything he may do in the comic (again... not a lot to go on just yet but we can assume its probably not going to be good.)
i can definitely see arcjec staying in touch with him, and that's pretty much how it is in my little au. i saw a couple folks on twitter talking about serpaz and him reconciling over shared cult traumies, and yeah i could see that too. like, out of the entire cast rn, assuming none of them die -- serpaz and arcjec are the ones i see refusing to let him isolate himself again. i do think calder probably resists it at first but. i think he'd let them in, with enough persistence.
also a lot of nearly 30 calder's deal is like. heavily for my own indulgence and my funny little fantroll to meet him and help him and all that but shhh we dont talk about that bit.
