this is a love letter to sonic rush and sonic rush adventure for the nintendo ds

i grew up in a vaguely anti-video game house and i had to buy my own ds, but by the time i was in middle school i had a small collection of sonic games and this duo was my favorite. i had bits of the games memorized. i knew that shit inside and out. i can still envision a couple of the levels, especially from the first game, although i am bringing up both games bc of marine the raccoon my beloved

i’m not really sure why these games stuck with me so much. but while i was home i found my old ds and some games. i don’t think i had sonic rush but i might get a copy, because it would be worth it to play that again and see if i’m any good at it. it DID have sonic rush adventure so once i either charge my old ds or remember where i put my 3ds i am going to play the shit out of it

scrimblo bimblo (underrated fave): i don't know if this is underrated per se but saccharina frostwhip is the only d20 character who has ever even come close to how much i love sofia. i am a HUGE saccharina fan and it just feels like i have not found my people. saccharina nation wya

glup shitto (obscure fave): i am actually very fond of bean from tiny heist! i don't know if he counts as a Fave fave but i think he's fun

poor little meow meow (problematic/pathetic fave): evan kelmp. i have cried real tears over evan kelmp

horse plinko (guy i’d like to torture): i know everyone under the sun has thoughts about norman takamori and that includes me. the show is not talking about the fact that he's getting plinkoed right now but believe me i think about it.

eeby deeby (guy i’d send to superhell): car-go jones. actually here's a fun fact i made that post about the d20 character sorter and people were rb'ing it and tagging it with their faves. and several people, apropos of nothing, also added "and car-go jones was last"
