i'll SCREAM if we get a mirroring scene where this time it's jun-ho who holds out his hand and says "come with me" to his brother, and then, and then!!! what if in-ho took his hand and they embraced and jun-ho tipped the both of them over the cliff's edge into the sea?? because they had both become monsters for each other and jun-ho knew they could never come back from this?? cue love crime by siouxsie sioux playing in the background, except it's not love crime but fly me to the moon and we realize the song had been about these two all along. (yes, i'm still eternally thinking about the moment in s1 where we pan away from in-ho's face after his haunting by the apparition of his brother in the mirror and the camera zooms in to his record player/the moving figures just in time for the "hold my hand" part of the lyrics to be sung, which is such a clear reference to the offer he made to jun-ho and how he wished nothing more than for jun-ho to hold his hand/join him.)
like, it's so funny to me when i see posts where ppl say they want in-ho and gi-h*n to go full-on hannigram by embracing and falling down a cliff into the sea together because... we already (almost) got that with in-ho and jun-ho!! this imagery/motif/seaside setting was already reserved for them - i'm sorry, but if anyone is gonna go murder-suicide like that, it's the hwang bros.
oops i went off there. but i agree 100%!!! miss their mutual obsession and cat and mouse games from s1 so, so, so much... wi ha joon had better not waste most of his time and talent on those damn boats next season or ELSE!!!!!
