Sophie had only been in town a year or so, trying to get a name for herself. She had a job to do for Mim. Keep the children believing, and what a way to start than with the most believable? Superheroes. She had drafted the idea over a year ago, and with a lot of hard work, she had managed to get herself published. ‘My Friend The Superhero.’ A dedication inside read: For T. Bear.
It was just the start of a series of pictures books she hoped to continue to write. In the book, a little girl and a hero go on all sorts of adventures together. Even coming up with a little side kick story line for the child. They would get ice cream, go to the zoo, and save the day.
One night while she was in her realm of imagination, she stopped, tilting her head as a picture floated past her. She scrunched her nose and plucked it from the air. Why did it seem so familiar? It was an interesting idea. The corner of the paper signed, Tyson Owens.
She quickly pulled up every single picture she had from him since she had become a Guardian. Why did this imagination feel so familiar? Eventually she saw something she recognized, a suit. A smile spread across her face. She wondered if he even remembered. He was apart of her Guardian origin.
A copy of her book appeared in her hand. She followed the trail of imagination, looking through a painting hung on the wall. With a blink, the book appeared on on the nearest table. Even if he didn’t remember, she hoped he might like it. She also couldn’t help but hide herself in the painting, waiting to see. She just had to see what he thought.
