I don’t think fundy was raised religious, Wilbur was never the churchgoer type and while I bet the topic of human religion was very interesting to sally it was more about finding different cultures interesting than a desire to assimilate. In NLM I believe he told puffy he doesn’t believe in god, which is in character for him. He also tends to be a little. Rude. About other peoples spirituality. Probably scoffs at the idea of the world being made of balance or peoples lives being determined by fate. Though that’s partially coping on his part,
