absolutely. she represses it, but aina is a very jealous, bitter person at the heart of it. you wouldn't know just looking at her because she's become some accustomed to burying it deep down where no one can see, but it's definitely there.
what kinds of things does your muse get jealous about?
a lot of things. particularly, she tends to get very jealous when it comes to things like popularity and achievements, looking at people who are successful and well-liked with quiet resentment although she acts as if those feelings don't exist. jealousy goes hand in hand with love or at least affection with her—aina tends to be attracted towards people who have everything she doesn't, and she cares for them greatly, but she also resents them for it and wishes she could be them. it's something she avoids thinking about as much as possible because it makes her feel guilty as hell.
she's also quite a bit possessive of others when she gets attached to them, but again, she keeps it to herself for the most part. though she does sometimes get overprotective or try to keep their attention on her in whatever subtle way she can.

YUP. pretty much everyone she meets, aina compares herself to in some way or another. are they more attractive than her? smarter than her? funnier than her? more talented? more successful? more loved? almost everything she does is guided by a desire to measure up to these comparisons she draws and prove herself, both to them and to herself. and it very negatively impacts her self-confidence because she pretty much always finds herself wanting in comparison.
