Make an AU for your muse where they still fill their same 'canon' role, but have the opposite personality - for example, if they're a funny comedic villain they remain an antagonist but they act way more serious and cruel. What would change? Would their goals and relationship stay the same? Do you think they'd have an easier or harder time?
Bonus points if you don't make their opposite too 'obvious'!
// Opposite Flowery? Ahaha oh boy. Canon Flowery is an outrageously positive and annoying anime boy. His ragebaiting serves a purpose to challenge the convictions of our main characters. So I think Opposite!Flowery would start as a... calm, edgy, serious mentor figure who guides you through Flower Kingdom. He still wants to keep Asgore trapped inside the Dark World. Maybe Asgore is secretly kept prisoner inside the castle, for what Flowery thinks is his own good.
And at the end Flowery would pull the carpet out from under you, exposing his bitter, resigned, obsessive true self. He's not willing to let Asgore go. He has to fight you, violently, because there is no peaceful option. He would highlight the cruelty of the fun gang's actions: by closing the Flower Kingdom fountain, you are killing the flowers. And Flowery is not so willing to let his friends give up their lives for your sake.
At the end, Kris or Ralsei are forced to cut him down, something Flowery suspected would happen the entire time. Prophecy made manifest because he gave them no other choice.

here's that drabble for those bonus points...
when cynthia had her wings clipped atop mount coronet, it was bertha who rose to the occasion. lucian was too reclusive, flint was too reckless, aaron was just too young...nobody in the league was more tenured or dependable than bertha, and she helmed sinnoh with an assured, easy confidence that only time and decades of service could grant.
cynthia was supposed to be recovering, but found herself worrying all the same. she could be doing more, she was failing her region, she was letting the burden slip from her shoulders--
"...I'm ready to come back. thank you for everything," cynthia had said to bertha in a rushed tone, a cold sinnohan sun filtering through the champion's office. she had forced an early ejection from the hospital, she was forcing everything...but oh god, she felt so restless. felt like such a failure. cynthia needed to come back, couldn't bertha see...
"absolutely not."
bertha's answer falls gently but with undeniable firmness, the elder elite studying cynthia with concern flickering in her steady gaze, perhaps a little bit of pity. cynthia, who has already started removing the bag from her shoulder to unpack, freezes. bertha's refusal had been so clear-cut that the words of protest rising in cynthia's throat were all nonsensical. childish. no? seriously...? don't tell me what to d-
bertha tilts her head, laying a sympathetic hand on the younger champion's shoulder.
"you need to take the time to come back down to earth, cynthia," she whispers softly. "your head's still up there on the mountain. perhaps your heart, too."
cynthia tries to respond with that practiced, polished assurance...but her breath hitches instead. she feels the heat rising to her face and a growing lump in her throat. perhaps it's her mortality, come home to roost. bertha watches with understanding and a sad smile, tears shining in her own eyes as she squeezes the champion's trembling shoulders.
"oh, we've missed you so much. you must feel so tired still...come here, sweetie..." and bertha gently pulls cynthia into an embrace that feels motherly, secure, and warm. her scarf tickles cynthia's cheek, and the sinnohan paragon sags, those restrained tears finally tumbling free, that veil of impossible pressure and expectations finally falling away to reveal the wounded woman underneath. "I've got you. I've got you. it's okay."
in this moment, cynthia is just another one of bertha's proteges. for once, cynthia doesn't think or do, just allows herself to trust and be held, bertha's hand gently caressing her back as the timeless elite helps guide cynthia back down to steady, reliable ground.

His sister, Devona, however is just not fond of Psychic types. As someone who maintains a stoic, composed appearance, she doesn't want her mind to be read freely like a book, thank you very much. Good thing she highly prefers Bug-types to deal with them.
HAMMY'S POSTING. Man, that's a HARD one— lightning round?? There are several blogs who have an overall aesthetic I just really enjoy and I'd feel bad if I had to choose just one:
@circusroyal came to mind the quickest. I think Dollybear's collage-style graphics are some of the most recognizable out there. Her PSD's peanut-butter-and-jelly color scheme, that slighty pixelated look that REALLY works with her muse, the way she can incorporate so much symbolism in her work— I could never, but she's legit talented and I know she puts an insane amount of work in the way her blog looks and is representative of her take on Kinger.
She has DOZENS of muses, but @monmuses overall horror aesthetic helps tie them together so well!! The graphics Toastie uses, her icons being color-coded depending on the muse's gender (I believe?), her choices in reblogged aesthetics and fanart, including all the horror movie gifs— I love the dedication! And if I didn't suffer from choice paralysis maybe I'd interact with more of her muses, she's got lots of really cool ones.
@honk4muses has been COOKING stuff like crazy lately. In terms of art, icon borders, her promo graphics; like, damn, whatever she's taking I want it, I love having a first-row seat to her creativity— AND HER WHOLE BLOG BEING CARNIVAL-AND-CIRCUS-THEMED IS SO CUTE!! It also makes Black Hat's presence funny lmao, he stands out like crazy. Her multi is soooooo colorful and whimsical man.
Oh and I just really enjoy how pink and cutesy @pchms' blog is; like that's obviously the point because Poochie is pink and cute as well but that's my favorite color and a lot of the stuff Figgy reblogs is stuff I like soooooo— ALSO!! I LOVE FIGGY'S ARTSTYLE AND CHARACTER DESIGN!! They're all (yes, even the Bearhugs) so round and squishy, and it's funny how Figgy fully capitalizes on the whole 'cute aggression' thing as a result. Some people WOULD squish Poochie until her eyes pop out, that's for sure.
