when i was younger i saw some episode on river monsters or smthn that convinced me aquatic dinosaurs were real and tbh. i still think they're down there. the ocean is huge and awful and beautiful and i really want any one of these fuckers to be down there
7. what animal do you look forward to seeing when you visit an aquarium?
WHALE SHARK....and the seals
weirdly specific and unrelated asks to know someone well
I'm a simple lesbian! I see a traumatized punk rock idiot with a fraught relationship to her estranged childhood best friend and I simply begin to ship.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
I do love the aforementioned childhood best friends recovering their relationship dynamic. I love how much they trust each other and how much they obviously mean to each other even after years of not talking. The way Max cares so much about Chloe that she'll do anything to protect her - when EVERYONE else in Chloe's life lets her down (or is dead), it's Max that sticks up for her and values her and fights for her.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
God. I've been in such an insular bubble of good takes for so long I'm not even sure what an unpopular opinion about them would be. Uh. I guess I prefer amberpricefield to pricefield on their own?
wait i would like to hear more about your sympathetic claudius interpretations because ive been going nuts over that concept lately
okay so i’m about to go off here so um ya. anyways i think claudius can be one of the most interesting shakespeare villains if we let him. i know there’s a lot of criticism about his character, his motivations, etc etc. and most productions i think interpret him as this bumbling old alcoholic who has no clue what he’s doing, but i’ve always been interested him since i first read hamlet and in this essay i will--
ok. so. rather than claudius being some old bumbling ‘hip with the kids’ type alcoholic uncle who cucked gertrude i always felt it would be more interesting if he was almost the opposite of that. what if instead he was much younger than hamlet sr., maybe in his 20s-early 30s, and much more calculated and more attuned to hamlet than his father? while hamlet sr. is the more charismatic, extroverted, and militaristic brother, claudius on the other hand is introverted, mathematic, and a bit of an outcast/black sheep of the family.
i’ve always felt like hamlet sr. was a bit sketchy and maybe this is my parental issues talking but in my personal interp i feel as if him and gertrude were never truly good parents to hamlet, instead priming him for a leadership position and treating him with cold discipline in lieu of giving him the carefree and warm childhood he deserved. claudius is all too aware of this fact and tries to be a surrogate parental figure to hamlet, especially with both of them being the more introverted and academic type. i don’t rlly know i just feel like claudius being much more suave and a better parental figure to hamlet and growing up in the shadow of his brother is just.... neat

Procreate, honestly. I see why people like it, and it's not bad, but Clip Studio and Photoshop are just soooo superior. Also Blender, but that's because I don't know how to use it yet rip.
