33) What kind of presents do they get each other? Do they only do it on special occasions?
Alistair gets Daylen sweet mementos (like the iconic rose), Daylen gets him gag gifts like a pen that squirts ink all over his hands. Special occasions require a present, sure, but they’re both sappy so they’ll do it whenever they feel the urge or happen to see the perfect thing.
18) What are their dates like? How long do/did they date? Do they ever feel the need to take a break from each other?
Oh, geeze. I’m laughing because I feel like one day Alistair just kinda stares at Daylen and she’s like ??? only for it to be just him freaking out over the fact that in the whole year they were together, they never actually asked each other out. So, when they finally do get a chance to have a proper date, they go all out. (Well, as much as they can.) The best dinner cooked over campfire, the sweet serenading of Leliana who is probably highly amused when she finally gets shooed away from the couple. I feel like they’re both a bit clingy, but when the time comes that they must part, they’re able to take it well. (Forever this time. ;n;)
5) Nicknames? Pet names? Any in-jokes?
Daylen calls him Ali sometimes and teases him about becoming king from time to time. Alistair calls her his rose occasionally, but I feel like their typical pet names for one another are more ‘my love’. They definitely laugh about their initial meeting all the time. (”I believe you were supposed to lock me up, templar.” “Is that what templars do to mages? I never got very far in my training.”) Also, you know what? They were both in Denerim. It’s not crazy to think that they’d think FINE DWARVEN CRAFTS DIRECT FROM ORZAMMAR is as funny as we do.
