Veks: he's heard of them, he respects them, he'd certainly go about it in a more strategic way, but hey, it was an effective way to save the world.
Seth: there's not too many books translated into draconic about them... nor did he hear about them from all the way up in the mountains. he'd probably just nod and smile, maybe look into finding something he can read about them. "baby... bear?" "yeah! Debbie's baby was a bear called hona" (alto)
Alto: he's a traveler, of course he's heard of them. he's especially fond of Ferrion, he was a bard who literally came back from the dead! who does that! plus his brother is a serial killer and now they solve crimes??? who is this guy!!
Fenix: well, she hasn't really looked into their adventures aside from the fact they saved the world or something, but she can appreciate someone who can make a good Debbie Plate.
Daezonik: Yeah, they've heard of them. Sure, yeah that was kinda cool. Probably admires Johnathan for sticking with the rest of them the whole time.
Vev: um... who?? sorry they did WHAT?

im a little late to the fandom.... what is forrest foes?
forest foes was the first campaign our beloved dm Cadillac ever made! it involved them, Pep, Izzy, Cerin, and a guy named Mason, plus it was supposed to involve a guy named Lewis but he couldn't make it on the first day and then backed out from the campaign.
the characters are as follows:
Izzy: Bonzai (Zai) Buckley, a Halfling druid with a familiar named Paul. his attitude was pretty much just izzy, with a little crime and interest in solving puzzles as a treat.
Cerin: Debbie. a half-elf rogue with a baby black bear named Hona! she was prone to being blunt and doing the strangest thing possible in any given scenario. hence the callback to the debbie plate Vev did once, as she literally created pizza.
Pep: Ferrion Heirderrer, a Teifling bard who carried around a glime (a slime with healing powers) for most of the campaign. he was related to Mr Murderer as a brother, a serial killer from fleckston (which im sure you know the fleckston stuff)
Mason: Buram, a dwarf barbarian with a tendency to get lost. him leaving and coming back one random days lead to a little joke that he was always high doing mushrooms or something.
the plot revolved around the group trying to save the heart of the forest from huo, son of tui, who tried to do the same thing years ago during a war. the plans go awry, people leave and die, and everything seems to fall apart until they meet up again. now the group has a lovely tavern
say (literally any town) lore and no one bats an eye, say baldvania lore and society goes wild...
i kno its super early in campaign 4 but ive been thinkin abt this since arcanenites….. wld any1 b interested in a bwhniwwd tarot deck project…… all campaigns ofc. informal interest check
we need more unforgivable murderer characters but they also wouldnt compare to the blueprint (xaarius)
when did you start watching these guys play in the khoarexia setting i'm trying to get into this fandom but i don't know where to start 😨
sorry I didn't get to this ask right away!
there's 3 different campaigns, the Arcanenites, which is current and ongoing. i'd suggest getting into that one right now, because it isn't too hard to catch up. they're currently on session 15 and do weekly episodes.
the other two are previously ended campaigns, who killed mark ienlair, and forest foes, forest foes being the first campaign. i'd highly suggest looking into them for the sake of seeing the group bond and have fun with themselves, as well as the fact they sometimes sprinkle in references to those two cmapaigns in arcanenites. but don't worry yourself if it seems like a lot to get into at once! pace yourself and remember to have fun :)
