Tyal - Hero of Kvatch (WIP)
Dremora!HoK - Part 1
Running. All I could do was run- run far away from the jaws of Oblivion that had me ensnared in its sharp teeth. I saw a gate and bolted straight through, my eyes shut tight as I step into the unknown. I open my eyes. I was now in Cyrodiil; the heart of Tamriel.
Mehrune's pawns were already set to kill the emperor- I was praying I wasn't too late. I used a spell to slip into my human disguise so I could blend in, because after all, I couldn't let any mortals know the truth. If they knew what I was.. who I was.. they would never trust me. I have studied Nirn's mortals for quite some time, reading books about them and hearing the stories recounted by other dremora; But studying and knowing are two very different things. From where I was standing, I was awkward at best and suspicious at worst. However, I couldn't let that deter me. I had to try to stop my father's wretched plans to invade Tamriel- because if I didn't.. all would be lost.
I came across the exit to the Imperial City Prison's sewers. My father's agents knew Uriel and The Blades would be coming through here to try and stop the inevitable. I walk inside and scan my surroundings, when out of the corner of my eye I see a rat with something glittering in its maw. I use telekinesis to pull the object out of its mouth and into my hand. The rat hisses at me and scurries off. It's… it's the Amulet of Kings..! That could only mean.. that I was too late. A sudden flash takes hold of my sight, my head throbs and aches as a vision comes into view. I see a priory of sorts. A voice rings in my head.
"You are the one from my dreams. You must go to Weynon Priory to give the Amulet of Kings to a man named Jauffre- he used to be one of my Blades. He knows where to find my last son. Find him, and close shut the gate to Oblivion."
The voice vanishes and my vision returns. Was that the emperor…? I didn't have time to think about that right now. This was my only clue as to what I must do next. I must find this Jauffre, and quickly. I know that Mehrune's mortal servants were looking for this- for this is the key to completing his grand plan of destruction. I tuck the amulet away neatly into my shirt pocket, and hastily leave the sewers before anyone sees me. Now I just have to find this "Weynon Priory".

Tyal - (ft. Kvatch Guard Uniform + Deadlands’ Edge)
I wanted to draw him in the Kvatch uniform I designed so I did! There’s our hero! ✨🐺 I was HOPING the purple would look good on him- and it does! We love a good purple 😎💜
(Sword shape credit to IRIS_KA on Turbosquid, I bought their 3D model to use as a shape base)
Sword information and full art below:
WIP of my boy Tyal in the Kvatch armor I designed! 😄
I have to play around with the colors for the uh.. top part? Does it still count as a doublet if it’s only a half one lol. A croplet 😭
It’s either gonna be purple or charcoal gray. I WANT it to have purple somewhere but idk if it’ll work. We’ll see! 🥰
(His sword also has a sigil stone in it, which is neat! I need to think of a cool name for it, which will be a little difficult lol)
Another redraw! :]

Tyal - Character Overview
Tyal is a a dremora created by atypical means. He was not created within the planes of Oblivion, but instead he was born from a devoted human follower who worshipped Mehrunes Dagon.
Mehrunes Dagon chose an imperial woman named Sibylla Loran to carry the dremora within her, because she was one of Mehrunes most devout and loyal followers. Dagon’s plan was to create the ultimate dremora- one that could adapt to his surroundings no matter what adversities he’d face, one that could pull from an endless well of inner strength, and one that could achieve anything he set his mind to- a dremora with a heart of man.
Omg I woke up to 53 new notes- most of them were for my painting of Tyal! Thank you for liking my boy :’) 🫶✨
What a pleasant surprise for real 🥹💖
