How do you think KugelMugel and Liechtenstein would react to essentially being siblings due to their brothers' relationships? How would Vash and Roddy react to their possible shenanigans due to this?
Ok so, mod is a younger sibling (who for the most part didn't cause problems on purpose,) AND has to deal with older sibs in relationships, so you came to the right person lmao
Lily (Liechtenstein) is really sweet, always respectful of Roddy, laughing at his jokes and complimenting his music. She fits right into their relationship, but Roderich knows his demise will be by her hand if he ever hurts her brother.
Kugel (heck what's his human name) is a bit more shy, less willing to accept Vash at first. I imagine he fits more into the "little shit" archetype of younger sibling, throwing unusually sharpened art supplies at Vash for "practice." Lily scolds him about this, but she's not unwilling to pull a prank or get up to some mischief with him, as she finds it fun, especially when she feels like she and Kugel are being ignored. Lily is just a really good older sister to Kugel in general, always willing to spend time with him, model, help, or even join in in making his art, or cooking if their brothers are busy or away. I imagine they'd be rather close.
For Vash and Roddy, they're mildly annoyed by this, but I don't think it affects them too much as most of the pranks are harmless. In fact, most of the time it will get a laugh out of the two of them. Lily and Kugel know which lines not to cross with their pranks.
I feel like the biggest problem would be that the two seem to accidentally push their siblings to the side as they become more and more preoccupied with each other. Kugel and Lily feel like they have to breach this invisible barrier just to interact with them sometimes. Of course, this is completely unintentional, and Roddy and Vash will apologize by taking them out for ice cream or some other treat. Still, I really do think they'd make a happy little family.

*quietly but with feeling* Pirate/Privateer AU,,, Pirate Rod with Privateer Vash,,, They meet at a brothel (they often sold drinks) and Vash is supposed to be catching Captain Edelstein and Vash is a very well respected captain. He's supposed to be bringing Rod to justice for stealing from the crown, but Rod just steals something else. (his heart aw) Bonus: Rod's crew is infamous for their sea chanteys and the ship is called The Siren. Bonus2: They'd have a sword under chin OH NO HES HOT moment.

Roddy steals because no one else is respecting those treasures like he is, and he has a need to collect it all.
Imagine Roddy's calling card being some type of song. It's the last thing Vash hears before he's knocked unconscious as Roderick escapes, He writes some notes of it down on every written exchange. Vash would never admit it but he does love his singing voice, wants to hear Roddy properly perform it.
Clues to his current whereabouts are abundant, Roderick is always leading Vash on, making sure the captain is always hot on his trail. Roderick loves teasing the Captain, lets him get ever so close to capturing him but he will never let Vash do so.
Roderick fights like it's a dance, and that makes it very difficult to best him, for he switches up the "tempo" and "time signature" while fighting on a whim. He's evasive and can be very quick, preferring to taunt and then disarm, rather than kill, (much messier, after all) and so Vash has found himself under the rapier (or sword) point of Roddy often, and he always infuriatingly tips his chin up with it, taunting him, but gosh if Vash doesn't find him hot and strangely charming. Maybe it's less Roddy getting away and Vash purposely losing as well.
HC: Rod is very protective of his quality time with the workaholic Vash.

This is very sweet and exactly how I envision these nerds, they're both very workaholic, often getting absorbed into whatever they're doing, days go by where it's dinner time before they realize they haven't talked to the other all day. Cue very touchy affection, the two won't leave the other's side for the rest of the evening. It's a rather nasty habit, and unless there's a scenario like the ones mentioned above this is what happens most of the time. Also cue hastily scribbled notes and annoying phone reminders to force themselves into taking a break, most of the time just to see the other.

There's always stuff he wants to try out and the actors are his test subjects, but they always look amazing so they don't mind
I feel like he's always has a specialized look for each specific play, and he puts them in a portfolio of sorts
