Tybost
a.k.a: Cobicistat
what it does: Boosts the levels of other ARVs you’re taking so that they work better.
daily regimen: 150 mg Tybost + your regular HIV drug dosage, once daily.
combine with: Reyataz (atanzanavir) or Prezista (darunavir).
side effects: Jaundice, nausea.
Vitekta
a.k.a: Elvitegravir
what it does: Helps ARVs work better for treatment experienced HIV-positive adults.
daily regimen: 85mg/150mg tablets taken once a day in addition to your normal HIV regimen. Dosage varies per ARV, so click the link for more info.
combine with: Any protease inhibitor, along with Norvir and one or more ARVs. Never take with drugs that contain elvitegravir like Stribild.
side effects: Should be taken with food. Diarrhea, nausea and headache.
