Tye Ruotolo vs Jason Nolf | Craig Jones Invitational 1
Well, both Ruotolos are in MMA now. A fun development.
Tye and Kade Ruotolo have been nothing short of electric for BJJ. The 22 year olds have quickly racked up some real hardware. Kade is an ADCC champion and the winner of the -80 kg category from CJI 1. Tye would become the youngest person to ever win at the IBJJF world championships when he won his division in 2022. Tye also competed at ADCC as a 16 year old and came in at like 4th. So yeah, elite BJJ skills.
While his twin brother Kade has already debuted and sprinted off to a 3-0 start, fellow BJJ standout Tye Ruotolo is set to make his own debut this week for ONE. And to his credit, Tye has pulled the toughest opponent they've recieved thus far - Adrian Lee (3-0), brother of ONE champions Angela and Christian Lee.
Tye and Adrian will face off this Friday (Sept. 5) at ONE Fight Night 35: Buntan vs. Hemetsberger which should be on Amazon Prime.

Adrian Lee vs. Tye Ruotolo | Highlights & Interview
Wanted to post the whole fight cause I found it interesting but only HLs available as the Prime Video snipers are most certainly out and about.
You're not going to find many better MMA debuts. Tye Ruotolo looks like he's on track to be someone in this sport one day. Lee showed a lot of dog, creativity, and just straight up bravery in this one. Only 19 years old. If he stays healthy and in the gym, no reason he also won't be someone in this sport either.

Tye Ruotolo vs. Adrian Lee | ONE Fight Night 35
Tye Ruotolo (1-0) had one of the more impressive MMA debuts I've seen in a while. While Adrian Lee isn't great shakes, he's a young prospect out of a good camp and a family that turns out good professional fighters. And he gave Tye a tough fight.
Tye, a BJJ champion, is one of the more interesting BJJ to MMA converts we have seen in a minute. Only 22 years old. Clearly very athletic. Give him time and him and his brother could be real special.
Tye will face off with Shozo Isojima (6-0) at ONE 173 this Saturday (Nov. 15).
