havent read qiye yet so ive got no clue abt how the rest of his history was but zhou zishu is soooo funny to me. guy says fuck for the first time when he is in his like. what. late 20s? early 30s? gets absolute euphoria from the experience of being an annoying crude bitch who says fuck for the first time in his life &then proceeds to spend the whole rest of the novel being the most lazy annoying asshole (deeply affectionate)(understanding of the fact that hes literally disabled & exhausted & in severe pain for most of the novel) ever. its so good. its so good!!!!!!!
i'm only a bit more than halfway through but so far tian ya ke is so good its like... no theres no major world shaking conflict here. sure theres drama going on. but theres no like huge evil evil plots going on. yeah no its a roadtrip story about a terminally ill guy with the worlds worst case of burnout who actively avoids being relevant. and also i mean sure there is a eevil evil powerful guy with a huge revenge plot but like ummm... he gets a crush. so hes like yeah whatever tabling that so i can kiss this guy. or like. worship at his feet if he doesnt want me to kiss him idgaf.
