i always like trying new things with my art, this one def took a lot of inspiration from shinji kandas card art!! so much detail.... but very rewarding :]

A WoC Timeline - as of 7/27/23

Bit of overview, this is the current-day most accurate timeline of events that I have regarding these characers, which INCLUDES birth years, important life events, death dates if applicable, and a handful of story placements for both canonical and original characters. This does get updated in its official document now and again but given the fact that I've had and been building on this one for the last several months, I think this is the most solid thing I've got right now for storyline.

Little warning for the possibility of some spoiler information, though I'm pretty confident most of this has been reiterated at least somewhere in my history once before (ie certain OCs, specific things that happen, yada yada)

So yeah a paragraph later here's my World of Cars unofficially official timeline:

1921 - Skipper's YoB

1929 - Blake Sr.’s YoB

1932 - Cabbie’s YoB

1939 - Beginning of WW2; Skipper joins USN

1945 - End of WW2

1950 - Windlifters YoB; Maru’s YoB; Cabbie joins USAF

1951 - Blake sr. and Diana’s marriage

1953 - Blade’s YoB

1955 - Caleb’s YoB [Blade's brother, yeah he has one]

1956 - Nick’s YoB; Saga's YoB

1957 - April’s YoB [Blade's sister - or, one of]

1958 - Founding of PPAA

1959 - Sydney’s YoB [there's the other one]

1970 - End of Korean War; Cabbie leaves USAF

1974 - Charlie's YoB [coming soon to a C-119 near you]

1976 - Cabbie joins PPAA

1977 - CHoPs aired

1980 - Windlifter becomes a lumberjack

1983 - Nick’s death; CHoPs canceled; Lightning's YoB [YEAH WHAT]

1985 - Tyker’s YoB

1986 - Blade joins PPAA

1987 - Windlifter joins PPAA; Clutch’s YoB

1989 - Apollo’s YoB

1990 - Dusty’s YoB

1991 - Blade promoted to Fire Chief of PPAA; Reymund’s YoB; Jackson's YoB

2005 - Jackson's alligator flashback dream in CoR

2006 - Tyker, Heather, Milo, and Mace join USAF

2007 - Beginning of Apollo’s career (age 18)

2008 - Events of major fire in PPAA; death of two team members, loss of many more

2009 - Cad becomes the Superintendent of PPAA [ew]

2010 - Tyker leaves USAF; becomes roommates w/ Clutch

2011 - The events of Planes (takes place earlier than the release of the film to fill the 3-year gap between them)

2014 - The events of Planes: Fire & Rescue

2015 - Tyker & Clutch join PPAA; Trigger is adopted [formerly: the events of Emergency]

2017 - Dusty diagnosed with epilepsy, funnels out of both careers

2018 - it's a secret...

2019 - Events of Chance of Rain
