I really found this initial exploration behind the Public logo interesting because of its minimalist design. Just through the use of different font weights, the logo created a unique identity for the theatre that is still enjoyed today.
The Highline logo also embraces minimalist design, but through the abstraction of a defining quality of the space. The abstraction of the railroad to create the "H" was extremely clever and complex, yet is represented through a simple and clean design.
I included the Boston cover just because of how different it was from the rest and how she still feels mortified that her name is connected to this design. It is extremely colorful and a cool graphic for a tee in my opinion, but I do prefer her minimalist work more.
I liked how the "55" design for Little Island was inspired by the amphitheater within.
