Climbing Out of the Hole
We as humans all have our downfalls, we go through experiences that render us frozen and make us question life and our purpose here. What is it that I am supposed to endure and learn here? And mostly, Why? These moments of questioning, doubtful thoughts, paralyzed ambition, and added depression have honestly catapualted me into a black hole...others would call it a desert period. (However, with the desert we imply walking with nothing around you with an unquenchable thirst. For me, I believe a hole sounds more accurate.) A hole, dark, mysterious, lonely...not only a scary place but a moment of despair, where you can look up and see the light yet have trouble thinking you will ever have the chance to climb out.
Finally, with an inkling of hope and faith in myself, I decide to make the climb. I am not as strong as I used to be, but I still want to believe anything is possible, if you just have faith in yourself. Obviously, climbing, especially without a harness, can only mean that you have a chance of falling again...Attitude can also effect this climb because if you are so used to falling and you think that falling is "normal" to you, you may keep falling over and over again. So what needs to change? Climbing on the other side of the hole? maybe...Sometimes taking on a climb at a different approach can really be eye opening. However, it all really comes back to attitude and what you tell yourself. Thoughts have that powerful way of dictating exactly what you will manifest.
The worst is if someone from the light up above screams down to you and says, "well you have fallen a lot in your past so you will probably never make any changes and make it up here." Oye! That can just kill your attitude and belief in yourself as well. Sometimes you have to ignore the opinions of others in regards to what you are capable of because no one can really understand what you can or cannot do except you. But I know deep down inside that if I get back to the top, I can guarantee that I will come out of there 100 times stronger, learning exactly how not to end up in that hole again. And to not let others kick you down there either.
Maybe everyone should fall in a hole at least once in their lives to understand how good life really is if you allow yourself the chance to make it better. If you find the inner strength and outer strength from the amount of times you pick yourself up and climb again, then most likely you can take on anything when it comes your way moving forward.
What is great is that after starting to climb and falling a few times, you realize you climb higher and higher each time you try because you learn how to do it better every attempt. I believe I am at this stage...I've lost count of the amount of times I have fallen after the initial start of the climb, however I feel like I am above half way now and the light is looking real pretty ;P. And while there are still people yelling down about past falls, I cant focus on the past because that's how you end up back at the bottom again.(I guess that's why they tell you when you are really high up, not to look down...You will scare yourself into the possibility of actually falling! Eeeek!) There are other people who you learn to keep as your friends who scream words of encouragement, "I believe in you!" "You can do it!" "Stay Strong!" "You are almost there!" Its good to know I have people in my life that will do that for me...not everyone is as lucky.
So, in conclusion, this hole is getting really old and I am ready to reach the top. Attitude is what will guide me, my faith in myself and what I have the potential to achieve. And as a super LOST nerd...I have to throw in a John Locke quote, "Don't tell me what I cant do!!"
Climb on ;)
Rainy days are inevitable, however, the light eventually shines through... #riseup #tylertime #shinethrough
