First batch of aggie posts, ft ocs, overlords, and some aus
This is Jazzdragon 18 from 2011. It was high time for another percussionist. As I never had the opportunity to play tympani in my junior high band, I let this guy play all of them.
I made this with ink, watercolor, and Prismacolor pencil.
Happy (late) holidays from the ladies of Neon Scorpion!
As the mouthpiece of the titan, the colony's cityspeaker is seen in society as a powerful oracle who must be protected at all costs. They are dressed helm to pede in the finest of silks, adorned with ununtrium jewelry in the shape of flowers. If she is not attending to her duties, or should the speaker wish to go out, then the captain of the Titan's Guard is at their side to protect them.
The current speaker has only been one for the past ten years, in a colony that has been scarred by the loss of the original speaker. While the inhabitants of the colony still revere the titan's mouthpiece and praise them, they're still yet to get used to another wearing the sacred garb. The aftershock of the first speaker's loss is also part of the reason why their protection has been suffocatingly heightened, to the point they are rarely alone.

Titans and city speakers should have a get together just to give and complain about any problems that they have with their planet lmao
speaker and titan vent channel, bet
Thalamhan's first cityspeaker was as much of an honorable figurehead as he was a noble explorer. He assisted in construction projects, organized culture and art festivals, and would frequently walk the streets of his city on his own as if he were an ordinary citizen like the rest. His duties as a speaker were never neglected, though, and he was incredibly close to his titan and the custodians of the Sacred Grounds. When he was lost, the entire colony was traumatized.
Still indecisive, but here's the current idea for Tympani's colors (her plating is iridescent but this is the base palette)
