Five times street food played a role in a job, and one time the street food WAS the job. Featuring pretzels, shawarma, bao, Scotch Eggs, breakfast burritos, paletas, pizza, and Eliot Spencer frequently questioning his life choices.

Why I recommend it: This is one I have read and re-read multiple times. I mean, a 5+1 fic about street food that even has footnotes with links to the actual food markets and recipes mentioned in the fic? Eliot would be proud. I love how the author captured each of the characters, especially Eliot, and the many little details and references to things from the show. It’s also delightfully funny!

What is a story without the scar to prove it after all?

My thoughts: A truly amazing study of the main Keeper kids! This author explores the effects of the events of the series on all of them incredibly well, and the descriptions here are absolutely gorgeous. These small sections are woven together beautifully, and work very well to explore the personalities and scars of each character! An overall beautiful fic, and I recommend it to every KOTLC fan here.

Why I recommend it: I love how Parker’s perspective is written in this fic. It feels incredibly accurate to her character, and it’s a perfect coda to/extra scene for the episode. Angsty, beautiful, hits you right in the feels!

I went into this fandom with tentative steps to be honest. I didn't know what to expect because I honestly didn't care much about romance between the avengers in the movie or the cartoon series. Anyway, so I'm glad I found this gem. 

Who wouldn't want to read THIS kind of AU! Catvengers FTW! Despite the tags on the fic, there's little to no romance at all, just cute, heartwarming fluff (lots of kitty snuggling) with underlying badass Phil! I practically felt myself swimming in kitty snuggles when I read this fic. 

For anyone who needs a time-out story to read, who loves cats and who just wants to sit back and read something non-romance related.

"Hey Luffy, how'd you get that scar on your face, anyway?" (In which Luffy talks about his brothers, and Sanji doesn't make promises.) Drabble, nakamaship.

Sanji and Luffy have a conversation about Luffy's scar under his eye. It's actually not often that you see nakamaship fic of them, but the ones that do appear, are really lovely.

A lovely gen fic in which Zoro analyzes his relationship to Luffy in comparison to the other members of the crew, because he is, in fact, the first mate and he's Zoro. It's all about Zoro being Zoro, while he supports Luffy in his quest to become the Pirate King.

Already Forever by Taisi 

Hundreds of years from now, historians will never know what her captain was thinking, when he brought Enies Lobby to its knees with a declaration of war, when he attacked a Celestial Dragon on an island in an archipelago, and she won't be there to explain, "it was for a friend, you see?" (In which Nami comes to understand that the world will never understand Luffy.) Nakamaship.

This is a cute reaffirmation of why Nami will always follow Luffy, despite all his crazy actions in the past. The ending scene was perfect.

A Sabo-centric fic as he goes through life as a revolutionary but still follows the news about Ace and Luffy as their bounties climb higher and higher, until there's only Luffy's news left to collect after Ace's death. A bitter sweet story.
