Came across a box of Photocopies of Polaroid’s & here is another early muse Miss @juliehealyphoto 🖤 I’ve known Jules a long time, since I was a photo assistant & she a model in the early 90’s. Fast forward to early 2000’s when she came to London and took the flat next door ✨Fun times ✨ I had a constant & ever changing studio set up in my lounge room. This was shot late night, I think I did the hair ( ex hairdresser skills come in handy )... possibly the makeup? #2. Revisiting my photographic collaboration with fellow photog Sonja Rodrigue this week. We bonded over our fascination with the film noir aesthetic and love of dark storytelling. Our collaboration lasted only a few years, but produced hundreds of images and a few excellent exhibitions together including ones at RISD and @prcboston.
