Final data recovery update
Regrettably, @typewriterkatface was not able to recover her data. Apparently it’s been seen by three companies now, and it’s impossible. There are a few other options we’re exploring closer to home that involve friends, but as of now, it’s over. Kat has a very, very stressful two months ahead of her, but both she and I are incredibly, unfathomably grateful for your support, both emotionally and in your monetary generosity. Her computer was actually fixed without her permission so she still has that cost, but she will be loaning that from myself, and will be refunding all of your kind donations, as she does asked for money for data recovery, not for computer fixture, and it would be wrong to take the money for reasons other than this. After we have made a video thanking everyone individually, we will be refunding. I can only apologize if it’a not the full amount, as gofundme take a tiny cut, so depending on how much you donated, you may end up missing 25p upon it’s return. She’s supremely upset and likely to be very tired at MCM, so forgive her if she’s not her perky self (she’s normally bouncing off of the walls and full of excitement). Once again, thank you for your support, you guys were absolutely incredible. EDIT: I’m on Matt’s laptop and forgot to log him out. (cuz I don’t have one ) This is Kat. ;)
