The Princess and the Plant
"I can't tell where we are." Mimi's voice was slow and panting. She stopped to look around, raising her hand to her forehead to blot out the sun despite her large cowgirl hat. She had long since taken off her gloves, though despite the heat kept the dress' shawl on to protect her arms from sunburn. It was ridiculous how warm it was here. Was this really the Digital World? She must be getting exhausted, she mused to herself. It looked almost like there were two suns in the sky. But that couldn't be right.
"I wish we could find some shade," Palmon whined in a low, squeaky voice. The digimon was held securely in her partner’s arms, held to her chest. "Water would be nice, too."
"We'll keep going," Mimi said breathlessly, trudging on despite the heat. There had to be something nearby. Even a rock formation they could hide under until nightfall.
There was nothing as far as the eye could see. Just shadows and moving illusions from the heat of the day. She almost expected black cables with every step she took. She almost wished something unusual would pop up like the old days. At least then she’d know there was something instead of an expanse of sand.
Mimi collapsed onto her knees, her feet hot and aching from all the time spent walking. “I need to rest.”
Happy big two-oh, Majora! ♥
AKA @lucifcriisms and @typhcccn.
This took me ~2 hours. Sure as hell that I am not as talented as you on digital arts, but it’s the heart that counts. :D
Anyway! I really hope that you have an awesome day.
You’re awesome as hell. You broadened various RP ideas for me. Even extended them, and I am thankful for that. You also made RPing in Tumblr fun as well. Speaking of RPing, I need to get back on that lol... I am hopeful that we’ll have a long, happy online friendship. :3 Because you’re too precious to lose. And I am grateful that you can stand my dumbass humour! X’D
I think that is all I could think of. ^_^
Happy Birthday, again, Majora!
Sincerely, Ruby. aka misadventuresoftem.
@typhcccn
if you only face forward, there is something you will miss seeing.
@typhcccn Continued from here.
“Are you crazy? You’re a beanpole!” Jack snorted, though not unkindly, “And quit lookin’ at me like that. Like I’m some kinda freak. You’re not one to talk about oddness, Mister Redcoat.”
@typhcccn
“Excuse me, but last time I checked that butt of your’s follows you every time you try and hit on me.”
She had been hoping it would cause him to stop chasing after her for a while but you know you win some and you loose some.
@typhcccn -- "HEY I'M DOG" "I'M ALSO DOG" "AAAAND WE'RE THE DOG GR.UMPS!"
"Heeey, it's the tall insurance girl! Long time no see!"
Milly’s entire demeanor brightens when she hears that telltale voice. Spinning toward the sound, she slings her arms around him before she can even fully register that it’s him.
“Mr. Vash!!” Utterly unashamed of expressing affection, the big girl gives him a good, hearty squeeze.
“Long time!!!” She finally releases him, almost as an afterthought, cheeks a touch pink.
“How are you?” She looks him over, curiosity masking her concern. She’s always worried about her little family, but unlike Meryl who bubbles over with it, Milly maintains a quiet temperament. She doesn’t fret, but she does observe.
