She felt ashamed, embarrassed, of the funk she had been in lately. It made her horrible company but yet the female sitting next to her only had kind things to say. She wished she could see herself through Cherette’s eyes, see something good in herself. people are ugly.

it’s something that oliver has come to the conclusion of– that despite whatever they portray, human beings as a whole are disgusting, vile people. he is one of the masses, only one of many fine, true examples; he will admit. he is the cream of the crop, fitted on top of the tower of ugly, horrid people that graze the world today. 

but will he say he’s less than worthless because of that? no. not at all– because while he may be an ugly person, he is true. he hasn’t ever once lied about his persona, about his intentions. he’ll gladly tell you his ideas and mindset, people just don’t want to hear them.

but cherette? oh. cherette is beauty in the finest, prettiest of forms.

her skin feels soft, wrists dainty under his grip. he flexes his grip, sun-kissed skin contrasting to the fair tone of her own flesh. he watches her, with a smile tugged on his lips as her chest heaves, her breathing quickens– and he shifts above her, cages her in under his body like an animal about to have his feast. he bares his teeth in a grin (predator, oliver; you are a predator). her skin burns with a red flush, sprinkled bits of crimson on her skin that looks lovely, absolutely ravishing. it flutters on her cheeks, lowers down to her neck and dances across the top of her chest, exposed to his view as her shirt slides off one shoulder. he takes it on, lets his eyes greedily rake over it, before he lets out a low exhale.

“beautiful,” he murmurs, dipping his head down– and he lets his lips brush and trail cold, wet kisses against her sternum and down, mouthing along the collar of her shirt with a hum under his breath.

in the back of his mind, he wants to sink his teeth in; break her skin and let red bubble to the surface. the flush looks so appetizing, so captivating– he can only imagine what the red looks like, coating her flesh thickly and sweetly.

but cherette is pretty and exquisite– and he knows, despite how much water he uses, blood never lifts from your hands, and he doesn’t wish to stain the image laid out before him.
