La Batalla del Vino de Haro

When you are a foreigner living in La Rioja, there are some events you have to go, and la Batalla del Vino in Haro is definitely one of those.

WHAT A NIGHT !!!

Our night began by walking around the streets of Haro completely full of people. The street were flood, with music from lots of street bands (Txarangas).

Everybody was so welcoming, and tried as much as possible to speak in English so that we could understand everything. 

After hours and hours, talking and dancing in streets and in the main square of Haro, we finally caught the bus in the morning to go to the wine battle area. 

THAT WAS SO CRAZY !!! In 5 minutes we were soaking wet in the wine. Anything could be used to throw wine (waterguns, buckets, bottles, glasses, ...) 

We stayed there for more than 2 hours. Our white clothes turned to pink and smell like a winery. 

Thank you Haro for this amazing and unforgettable night.
