Nope, not this year. Probably for the better haha.

Yeah, something really awful happened and I thought I’d be way ore traumatized than I really am. It really just left me more confused than anything.

7. Favorite actor of the year?

Wish I had seen a single anything this year but unfortunately I haven’t…. however, I did rewatch Now, Voyager innumerable times this year so Paul Henreid! (the way he lights her cigarette… good lord.) 

13. How was your birthday this year?

It was the best one… ever in a very long time. I thought I was going to spend it grading and writing a paper but my mom threw me a surprise party with my family and friends from the uni. It was heartwarming seeing people come out to celebrate my birthday on a weeknight. Thank you for asking Kenny :)

19. What’re you excited about for next year?

My new therapist. I recently moved and finding a new therapist is like going on a date and finding the right person. I had my first appointment this past week and I feel like I’ll be able to work on A LOT of things with her. She is actually pretty amazing so I’m looking forward to getting better after this year. 

22.Favorite place you visited this year?

I haven’t really traveled in a few years but just a few weekends ago we went to one of my favorite beaches. I sound like a broken record at this point but I want to literally end my days by the ocean. Quick amendment: going to Seattle for my sister’s wedding and getting to have dinner with Jackie and Shawna was also my favorite place I’ve visited. HOW COULD I FORGET?!

I couldn’t have been happier to see the Gays in Hollywood theme (one of my favorite themes they’ve ever done honestly), but the execution of it left something to be desired. It really sucks that they don’t discuss every film in their lineup, and I haven’t really cared for the host that they picked for it because he comes off as kind of awkward and nervous to me (like come on it’s pride month, we need someone out and proud of this fine gay heritage), not to mention obviously the lack of lesbians, though they really deserve their own month of programming too. Now that you mention it I would really have loved to see Robert host that theme, I’m sure he would have done it more justice.
