For Tyrsa, finally reaching the Gate is about seeking justice, finding the truth that her fleeting recovered memories have hinted at, and confronting an evil that seeks to bend the world to its will. Even if that evil might just live in her own heart. First order of business: kill Cazador.

This song is one hell of an anthem. For this group, specifically.

This scene was entirely women on her playthrough (even though her party consisted of Astarion, Gale & Halsin). She walked past Isobel and Aylin, then Shadowheart building a fire, and finally Karlach and Lae'zel joined her on the rooftop.

However, if we are talking about after the South-Span checkpoint in Wyrm's Crossing, it depends on how soon. Because if a certain Steel Watcher has already welcomed her home, a pair of dark eyes are haunting her, and this is the song blasting in her head whether she wants it to or not:

Mara del Bruoc

Mara isn't a man, but this song is appropriate in how it conveys grief, a yearning for home, and a desire to overcome, alongside a fear of the potential consequences of power. At this point, she knows at least some of what she's done, with only her Urge and the words of Sceleritas to determine why. You can't stick your hand in the hole in the wall in Moonrise Towers as a Durge and not know you are instrinsically linked to everything that's happening to you and your friends. The Absolute called her “disgraced master,” ffs.

She's also recently recovered one of the few memories she ever gets back: who Da'arr was, and how they died, minus only one crucial detail she won't learn until she fights Orin.

This song hits on so many different places for her, because she was intended for godhood and doesn't want it anymore. The woman she used to be is asking Bhaal and even Sceleritas to forgive her. The woman she is now hopes that Da'arr forgave her and that Gale will, too.

Praxas Vindrathaliin

Just as he was leaving the shadow-cursed lands, twisted and wound into a dire raven's nest, Praxas found the red ribbon that slipped through his fingers and fell off the balcony over a year before, on the very night he and Gortash finally revealed their attraction to one another. It had been tied around the box that held Stillmaker. Gortash gave it to him at the very beginning of my fic The Ribbon.

Praxas remembered almost everything in a single moment; the rest returned when he saw the Emperor's true face. He doesn't truly care what he has to do in order to live--with his person, but there are unexpected surprises waiting for him when they meet again.

Bonus... Enver Gortash

What he's blasting right after: “They live?”

He's dancing around his office singing that damn song regardless of which Durge is coming home.

At the top of his lungs, off-key, using that cane like a microphone.

This one is also tremendously Durgetash-coded.

It could be Gortash's anthem for the five years he spent in love with Tyrsa when she wouldn't date him. It also very aptly applies to Praxas and Gortash.
